This updated 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse located right on the beach is one of the best values for beachfront living on 30A.Both bathrooms totally renovated in 2017.New Gulfside sliding doors August 2018. New queen sleeper couch and Love Seat in den 2017. New Interior paint 2017. Enjoy the sound of the waves as you drift off to sleep and wake up to amazing views of the beach. The townhouse faces west and features two large balconies - one off the primary living area on the second floor and one off the master bedroom on the third floor - allowing for amazing sunset views! The townhouse is part of a small complex called Walton Dunes that is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of Seagrove Beach, approximately 3 miles from Seaside and 7 miles from Rosemary Beach. Staying here you get the best of both worlds - you are extremely close to the restaurants and activities in Seagrove Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach, but you are tucked away in a quiet, uncrowded stretch of beach that allows you to completely retreat. It is also centrally located on 30A between Destin and Panama City Beach, which are both approximately 30 minutes away and easily accessible for day trips. The local Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Course is located on 30A -7 miles East. There are many other golf courses in Destin and Panama City a short distance away. Walton Dunes has a private beach access point located directly in front of this unit. Don't pass up this opportunity to stay right on the beach!! Unit #2 so real close! The unit is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen featuring granite countertops, a washer and dryer, and two full size bathrooms and one half bath. The second floor of the townhouse features a living room, kitchen, dining area, and half bath. The third floor of the townhouse features a master suite and a second bedroom with two twin beds and a secondary full bathroom. The upstairs features new carpet and the unit also features a brand new AC unit. With your reservation through Grayton Coast Rentals you receive a "Beach Gear" credit of $40 per day toward bikes, beach chairs/umbrellas delivered to the unit that you set up, paddle boards, cooler etc. You can choose any of the items our vendor offers up to the $40 per day value.   The condo worked out perfectly for us! It is older, but if you’re not worried about it being in pristine condition as far as visual goes, it is great. It was clean, which is a huge factor for me, as it’s the only thing I’m super picky about when staying somewhere. There are so many pros, like a lot! -it’s all yours. No body is above or below you. -parking garage was big, so everything for the beach was stored outside. -so safe that we felt at ease leaving our items outside. -water hose is attached to each individual condo. -location is perfect! I’m glad we got this one bc it’s right by the ramp. -had everything we needed! I’ve never been somewhere that we needed at least a couple of utensils or pans that wasn’t provided. -they provided a credit for gear and we used it for bikes which was amazing! -it’s close enough to bike places -didn’t give a long list of things to do before leaving the property. Even though we always vacuum and pick up as we go, but nice for others. -we had 1 issue and they had it fixed to the best of anyone’s ability, within hours. I could honestly go on and on about the pros!
  The only cons -hated the key fob entrance to the beach. If it were just 2 people, it would work out great, but more people, it becomes a bit of a headache but we made it work, so it is not a deal breaker. -if your sensitive to mold, it did have some. Which is not uncommon in a moist area like that. Only 2 of us were affected by it. I was the main one and probably going to take me a bit to get my voice back from having a sore throat. But again, that’s if you’re sensitive or allergic that you would need to take that into consideration. Everyone else was good and it didn’t affect them. -last con and only bothered me bc I am OCD, the sliding glass doors do not lock. It is not a big deal bc the chance of someone getting in is Very slim, basically have to be Spider-Man. So, it i

  I had the pleasure of an extended stay in this unit. The view of the sunset each night was beautiful. I loved sitting on the balconies listening to the ocean as well as long walks on the beach. The location is in a nice quiet area just off of 30A.
  
  It is an older unit but the kitchen and bathroom updates are very nice and the kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed. It was nice having a small pantry closet to store dry goods. All of the TV's had access to cable stations and streaming services which was nice.
  
  The rental agency was great to work with and very responsive to my questions and needs throughout my stay. I appreciated the allowance provided for bikes and beach gear.
  
  Overall it was a lovely vacation!

  Upon arriving, we were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and the decor. You have everything you need in the kitchen to cook a great meal. My two teenage daughters had plenty of space in the second bedroom to spend a week comfortably. The master bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the master shower. From either balcony, the view is breathtaking. Just a few steps away from the front door is the gated walkway to the private, quiet, relaxing beach. While you're there, be sure to try the Donut Hole, Shade's, Grace's Pizza and Pickle's.

  Our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Helene. Coming from NC our flights were cancelled and then delayed, but once we arrived all was good. The unit was comfortable and clean. The views are fantastic and private beach access is so convenient. An improvement would be a keyless entry instead of trying to keep up with a key and a hairdryer. I never travel with one and I couldn't find any in the upstairs bathrooms. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one.

  We love Walton Dunes and have stayed there almost every year. #2 is awesome because you can sit on he balcony and watch the sunsets. The furniture is nice and the place is clean. The only downside is the stairs. I’m 68 and my cousin is 72 and lugging our stuff up two flights of stairs is awful. Need better lighting in dining room, kitchen and living room. This place is about 30-40 steps to the beach - you can’t be any closer!

  The location of this property on 30A is perfect. Proximity to the beach access and beach view is very good. We have stayed in this unit multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay. This year they only provide you with one "fob" per unit for the beach gate. This was very troublesome for our trip since we had 3 teenage kiddos with us. Lots of back and forth running to the gate access. Hopefully, by our next trip this will be resolved. Overall a nice unit to stay at.

The wagon Funes waterfront is not nearly as crowded as the beaches closer to public access. We love being close to the lake, as our kiddos love to explore there. Our only issue was that the floor on the first level was dirty. Upon arrival, I took off my shoes and put away items in my socks. My socks were black on the bottom by the time I finished. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay. The beach was beautiful as always.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to book the same unit for next year.We have stayed at Walton Dunes in the past and if anything enjoyed this unit even only hesitation in providing a stellar review is my concern that if too many find out what a fairly priced gem this place is I might not be able to book it again! The owners clearly care about the comfort of their guests.We ate most meals at the condo so a well stocked kitchen was very much only complaint is that the range hood makes noise but does not vent.I set off the smoke alarm while cooking bacon but fortunately could get the kitchen window open before disturbing those staying in the adjoining units.I loved the updated master bath shower and found the bed very comfortable.The ceiling fans and A/C were excellent.Since we live in FL we brought our own beach towels, beach chairs & umbrellas but found plenty of beach equipment already there for our use when we arrived. The direct view from almost every room was emerald water and sugar sand,Most mornings we ate on the deck while watching a dolphin fish for his breakfast and most evenings we watched spectacular sunsets sinking into the Gulf from the same vantage point or right from the sand.You just cant improve on that IMO.There were some beach issues during our stay,Many dead eels and fish washed up possibly due to Hurricane Florence and/or red tide which has really plagued our west coast Fl beaches this year. There is nothing the owner or rental company can do about Mother Nature and only 2 days were significantly affected for us.Thanks to all involved for providing a clean, comfortable, convenient, and safe environment for us to share.

  The condo was nice, clean, well-stocked and as described on the website. Only exception is that the guest bedroom has been upgraded with new furniture and bunk beds, which is not shown in the pictures. The master bedroom king mattress seems worn out. It is very soft, no support and sinks in the middle. I believe it’s time to replace. I did notice moisture condensation around most of the air vents with black stuff and moisture stains on the surrounding drywall and in the vents. Hopefully it is not mold, but it should be addressed as it is very noticeable especially on the main floor where it seems damp. Perhaps the air conditioning/humidity control needs to be adjusted. We have stayed in 3 other Walton Dunes units and this has not been an issue. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if the master bedroom mattress is replaced.

  This was a perfect location for a beach vacation. The beach here is so beautiful and clean. This location was great and comfortable. The only downside to our stay was it could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival. Also, the heater was set in 80 degrees when we arrived , so it took quite a few hours to cool. Sit back in the evenings and watch the sun sets with friends and family. Private beach access, with keypad security, is steps from the private carport underneath the front porch balcony.   Wonderful view and location. Many ammenities in the unit, all the conveniences of home. Our air conditioner went out. Called the rental company. They had someone out first thing and fixed it. Driving distance to restaurants and shops. Rented paddle boards and they delivered them right to our unit. Neighbors all friendly. Quiet at night. Great family vacation spot!

  We love the Walton Dunes Townhomes. The location simply cannot be beat. This was our fourth year visiting, however first year in this townhome. The furnishings were very nice and rental company was very attentive. Would not hesitate to come back!

  Walton Dunes 2 is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous beach. It is located just a few steps away from the beach. The condo is very clean and attractively decorated. It has two balconies and you wake up in the king size bed with a view of the ocean. I 've stayed here three years now and reommend it highly.
